We have a Whirlpool wall single oven that we self-cleaned today. Now, the control panel is stuck with a message saying 'Please wait - leave the door closed as it completes the locking process which may take 20 seconds. No further steps are required.' The oven is electric and from 2019. We have tried resetting circuit breakers and pressing different combinations of buttons, but nothing is making the message go away. We are unable to get to the plug since it is behind a drawer, so we are looking for other options to reset the oven.

I have a Kitchen-Aid double oven, model KEBS278DBL1, serial # XF3201008, from 1996. After using the self-cleaning cycle, the display is completely black, none of the buttons are working, and the upper oven is still latched shut. I tried unlocking the panel with the Control Lock, checked the electrical box to ensure the fuse hadn't tripped, and reset the breaker. What could be the issue, and is it worth having it looked at?
