I have just purchased a GE oven with a steam clean element. I followed all the instructions but am disappointed that the steam clean does not effectively remove burned-on messes. I have tried using a special scrub brush and Cerambyte cleaner, but it still requires a lot of work. How can I remove the burned-on stains without spending a day scrubbing?

My GE top loading washer model WDSS4120AWW stops and starts during wash and rinse cycles. It runs for about 3-5 seconds, then rests for about 5 minutes, repeating this pattern until it gets to the spin cycle, where it runs properly. The washer fills fine, stops and starts agitating, spins fine, but takes about 3 hours to run a full load. What could be causing this issue and how can it be fixed?
