I have an acrid smell intermittently coming from my Bosch Classixx 1400 express washing machine, which is front-loading and about 6 years old. The smell started a few days ago, and I recently replaced the motor brushes. The machine seems to work fine. What could be causing this smell and what should I check?

The fabric softener won’t dispense from my top-loading, brand new washer. I've tried pushing down the long bar in the dispenser. How long has this been going on with your washer? What have you tried so far?

We have a Maytag washer model #MVW7230HW. It isn’t working and I have clothes that have washed inside. The lock on the lid will not release. Is there a manual way to release it? I’m afraid my clothes are going to spoil. I have called the Lowes Service Advantage because we do have a warranty on it but they can’t come before 4/6 days.

My Speed Queen Model AWN43RSN115TW01 (Product Code TR3000WN) washer, which is a top-load model about 4 years old, will not drain and go to the spin cycle. The 'Wash' and 'Spin' lights slowly blink twice. I have already checked the pump for blockage and did not see any, and the impeller looked okay. There is also visible wear from abrasion on the plastic rings on the top of the tub and the 'shield' that covers the edge, possibly due to overloading or imbalance during a wash cycle. What should I do to troubleshoot and fix this issue?
