I have an Amana cooktop model AKS 3040, about 20 years old. The grates have become corroded, and replacement parts are unavailable. I was recommended to use Rustoleum High Heat, but it's not suitable for metal directly exposed to flames. What can I do to address the corrosion, and can I use smaller grills as replacements instead of the two large ones?

The panel of my Whirlpool refrigerator model WRF555SDFZ09 S/N K92323447 displays "COOLING OFF" in red, but nothing else lights up. Unplugging and replugging the electric cord makes the ice cube icon light up, but clicking other icons makes it go off. The refrigerator seems cool inside, and food in the freezer appears frozen. What might be going on and what should I do?

Our oven is stuck in demo mode, and none of the online suggestions, including pressing tools and then 8, have worked. The oven is electric, about 6 years old, and rarely used. How can we turn off demo mode without the model number?

Is there a reset on a Maytag washer? If so, where? My washer will not start. It is a top-loading model, about 12 years old, and the issue has been ongoing for 2 days. I have tried changing to a known working outlet, but the control panel is not responding, and the washer does not fill with water, except for the finger switch which supplies a little water.
