I have an old GE range with a Hotpoint Model #RB526C3WW. The oven element needs replacement, but the contacts appear to be welded and not pull off/push on. I don't know how to solder or weld. Do I need a new stove, or should I call a repairman?

I have a GE ranger model number jbp30w0b4ww. I replaced the clock control (main board) because the temperature was inconsistent and often did not reach the desired temperature. After installing a new board, it worked fine for a week, but then the new board would max out in temperature no matter what. I replaced the board again, but it's still maxing out in temperature. Any ideas?

I just bought a Maytag top-loading washing machine and it has started showing an 'LF' code and keeps chiming before turning off towards the end of the cycle. The model is a Maytag Commercial Technology top loader. How can I fix this?
