Is a grinding noise at the beginning of wash and spin cycles in my top-loading washer (model number WTW584) a sign of a gearbox issue? The noise just started within the last month and is becoming more frequent. I haven't tried anything yet, but I've had the drain pump off the machine and found nothing wrong.
