I have an older 90 series Kenmore washer. The spin cycle does not always work, and it seems to disengage when I open the lid. I do not hear a ratcheting sound, and there is a faint smell of something burning. What could be the issue?

I have a MyTag dishwasher, about 10 years old, and it had a strong burning plastic smell during air dry. I found a quarter in the bottom, and I'm concerned if it could have damaged the element. The element seems to have rust stains where water splashed on it. Could the quarter have caused the element to burn out, and would the element be red when the door is opened if it had gone out?

Hello, my GE Monogram wall oven does not heat up regardless of the mode it is in (broil, bake, conv. bake, etc.) and the pre-heat lamp does not turn on. However, the oven seems to work fine: the other lights and the fan work. I have measured the continuity of the elements and they seem to be ok. Also, there is voltage across them when the oven is turned on (122.8 VAC). The model number is XXXXX
