I have an older GE Profile refrigerator model TFH24PR, at least 15-20 years old. Recently, I lost power to the ice and water dispenser on the front door panel, including the light switch. The ice machine in the freezer is working fine, and there is no noise when pressing the dispenser buttons. What could be the issue, and what steps should I take to diagnose and potentially fix it?

Can the timer on a GE dryer model GTDP490ED7WS be tested with a multimeter, and if so, what are the terminals to check? The dryer is 4 years old and has stopped working completely. I have checked all switches and thermostats, but the issue remains unresolved.
