I have black pieces in my ice cubes, some rather large. My appliance is a Sears 106.57442702. I noticed this issue last week and have already cleaned the ice catcher and the shoot the ice comes through. Could the problem be coming from the supply line?

My LG dishwasher, model Mez64589015, is less than 3 years old and the prongs on the racks are eroding. I've tried painting them with a cover product called Rerack, but they are still eroding. The dishwasher otherwise works fine. How can this issue be resolved?
