I have Lowe's Protection Plus on my Maytag model MVWC565FW washing machine. It has been making unusual noises for the past couple of months, and now it makes a loud, metal-on-metal ratcheting sound for 5-10 seconds when the spin cycle begins. I need a service call to address this issue.
