I have replaced the lower oven temperature sensor and the high limit switch on a Maytag Mer6875AAQ. However, the oven still overheats and the top element burns whatever is baking. What could be causing this issue and what can I do to fix it?

My Whirlpool stove model WERP3120Q0 is shutting off on its own, sometimes unable to shut off, and the LED stays lit up when not in use. When lit up, the 'start?' indicator is also lit up, then all LEDs shut down. What could be the issue and can I replace the part myself?
