I have a Sub Zero freezer model 601F with a pull-out tray type ice maker that has stopped making ice and is not getting any water. The ice maker is not cycling at all, and the fingers are in a horizontal position. The freezer temperature is -5°C. What could be the issue, and how can I troubleshoot it?

We have a Maytag Centennial Washing machine that stopped mid-load with water still in it. The washer will not run on any cycle, and initially made a clicking sound when turned on, but now only hums. What could be the issue and how can it be resolved?
