I just purchased a second-hand GE electric glass top cooktop with a downdraft vent system. The downdraft system does not fit in my cabinet. Can I remove it and will the cooktop still work without it? I have an overhead vent system now, so I really don’t need it. I didn’t realize it was downdraft when I purchased it. The model is PP989SN1SS.

I have a two drawer Fisher & Paykel dishwasher that stops washing on the normal cycle at 48 minutes and doesn't seem to be heating the water anymore. It's been happening for a couple of weeks. What can I do to fix this issue?

Whirlpool refrigerator model WRT311FZDW00 has inconsistent temperatures in the freezer (varying from 0 to 20 degrees, most often 10-20) and the refrigerator (too cold, around 26 to 36, most often below freezing), even when set to recommended settings. Adjusting the controls does not achieve the desired balance of approximately 0 in the freezer and 37 in the refrigerator. What could be the issue and what can be done to fix it?
