I'm trying to reverse the door swing on my Amana front load dryer (Model # NED5800HWO, about 3-4 years old). I followed the steps to switch the door and move the hinges, but now the door won't latch closed. What am I missing, and how can I fix this?

I have an old Maytag Performa washer (Model #PAV2300AWW) that fills with water and goes through the wash cycle, but stops when it's time to drain. The electrical panel makes a faint clicking noise during this time. I have unplugged the machine and removed some clothes to lighten the load, but the issue persists.
