I own a GE refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom, model GDS20KBSBCC, and I'm having ongoing ice maker issues. The ice maker either produces too much or too little ice, and it seems to work better when it's colder outside, even though the fridge is in a climate-controlled house. Recently, the ice maker has completely filled and frozen solid, dripping water into the cube tray. I replaced the ice maker less than a year ago, but not the supply tube. The 'stop making ice' flapper moves freely, and I've turned off the water to the ice maker. What could be causing this issue, and what steps should I take to fix it?
