I purchased a new Whirlpool, 29 cu ft, french door, water/ice in the door, freezer on the bottom refrigerator. After a couple of days, I noticed ice building up on the back, upper right section of the fridge compartment. The technician said this was an inherent problem and repaired it, but it happened again. I returned the fridge and purchased a new KitchenAid with the same features, but the same issue occurred. Have you heard of this problem and can it be permanently fixed?

My Kenmore Elite gas stove died while the cleaning cycle was operating. The display is dead and the door is locked. The stove top clicks, ignites, and burns just fine. Is the display burned out? Can I somehow unlock the door manually?
