I purchased an LG 30" French Door refrigerator on 12/28/2017 and it no longer cools. It sounds like the compressor is shot. I touched the discharge line on the compressor to see if it was warm or hot and it's not. I also researched possible causes and found a video that plays the sound of a properly operating compressor vs one that is not working properly. The noise doesn't change when adjusting the temperature setting. I noticed it wasn't cooling two days ago. I've reset the power, changed the temperature settings, checked the discharge line temp, and compared the sound of a good vs bad compressor. Is the compressor likely the issue, and what should I do next?

My oven is broken. I believe it is the heating element. If I order the heating element - is it fairly easy to replace if I do it myself?

Do you have any follow-up appliance questions or need help with anything else in your house? It's included! The repair tech was very quick to answer and I am off to follow up with troubleshooting.
