I put my icemaker in the "Clean" mode and left it there for several hours. When I turned it to the "On" position, the motor sounded the same, it got cold inside, and some ice formed on the tray, but nothing else happened. Did I permanently break my machine by leaving it on Clean for too long? Is there anything I can do to get it working again?

My Defy multifunction oven seems to be warmer in the middle. When baking rusks, the centre part of the tray rises higher and is darker than the sides. What can cause this?

I have a Kenmore Elite model 16582200. The dishwasher cleans well sometimes but not others. It seems to run through the cycle but takes a long time and sprays everywhere. After the cycle, there is food residue on the door and the top rack dishes are not clean, while the bottom dishes seem fine. I have had a repairman twice, cleaned out some plastic, but no replacement parts were installed. I took it apart myself but couldn't find any blockages. What could be the issue, and is it worth fixing or time for a new dishwasher?
