I ran the self-clean on my oven and now I cannot get the door open. It’s been 24 hours. I unplugged it for 60 seconds and plugged it back in, but I still get an F9 message. The oven is over 20 years old. What should I do?

My appliance's display shows :0. The unit is 3 years old, model ME16H702SES. This issue just started within the last week. I've tried hitting Cancel twice and unplugging for 10+ seconds, but the unit works fine otherwise. What could be the issue and what else can I try?
