I recently moved into my home and the dishwasher came with it. It's a GE model # GDT690SGF1WW, and I can't figure out how to start it. I'm not sure how old it is, and there are no blinking lights. It's been the last day I've been trying to start it. I've used it twice before, but I don't know how to get it going again. I need to operate the buttons prior to closing the door, and I'm not sure which settings it needs to be on before I close it to get it to start immediately. I thought it was on a time delay but it hasn't started in the last 1-3 hours.

My Whirlpool refrigerator's freezer is icing up even after manual defrosting. I unplugged the unit for 6 hours to clear the ice, but it started frosting up again within 12 hours of plugging it back in. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

Our five/six year old Whirlpool Refrigerator (model WRB322DMBM00) needs to be manually defrosted every six to eight weeks. Would a Service Test be worthwhile? If so, what Mode should I be focusing on, especially Service Test #1 for Defrost Thermostat & Defrost Circuit Test?
