I replaced the ignitor in my 10-year-old GE Profile appliance, but the new ignitor doesn't have the same heat-resistant insulation on the wires as the original one. Additionally, there is a hole that needs insulation to prevent potential fire hazards. What should I do to properly insulate the hole and ensure the new ignitor's wires are safe from heat?
