I want to replace a downdraft, natural gas, Jenn-Air cooktop installed in the late 1990s. It's 33” wide and 20” in depth, but the new models seem to be wider or narrower. The unit is in a stone counter. What are my options for replacing this cooktop without replacing the countertop?

I have a MDB8959SKZ0 dishwasher that is displaying an E1 F9 error code. The dishwasher drains the water but doesn't seem to recognize that it's empty. The check valve is functioning correctly, the filter is clear, and the drain hose is unobstructed. The dishwasher is about 3-4 years old.
