I needed to replace the thermostat in my freezer. The replacement part I received has an additional wire to it. The instructions online say it is to be fished through to the back outside of the unit when you pull the old wire through and then wrapped around the wires with only a cap applied to it. Does this have to be done? If so, how do I get it from the inside to the outside, since my original one does not have the extra wire?

My Kenmore Ultra Fabric Care II Model 110.92585100 is no longer going through the spin/rinse cycle – the washer stops running when it reaches that point during the wash. After the last complete cycle, a part was found within the clothing. The part is rectangular open frame in shape with an open, with a plastic tab on one side and a spring pointing out from the other end. What is this part, where did it come from, and is it repairable?

My Samsung DMT300RFW dishwasher starts, drains, fills, but then gives an error code (Y-N-Y-Y) and interrupts the cycle before washing starts. The troubleshooting guide suggests low water level and online help suggests a clogged sensor. I have cleaned everything thoroughly and tried resetting the machine by cutting the power at the breaker for 5 minutes. The unit still drains, fills, drains again, then fills again and stops. No water gets splashed around, it just pools at the bottom. How should I reset the sensor and what else should I do to get the dishwasher to work?
