My 4-year-old Maytag Maxima MCT washer is locked and none of the controls are working, with only the 'locked' indicator light blinking. I've tried all the regular buttons and operating functions, but nothing works. I need to get it open and reset ASAP because clothes are inside, ready to start a load with soap in it, and I'm worried it will ruin the load if it sits too long. What should I do?

Our washer is not changing cycles and it is taking between 3-4 hours to get done, then starts the cycle over and over again. The knob that turns to the cycles does not light up to show what cycle it is on, and sometimes it won't go to a cycle that you choose. The issue has been going on for about 4-5 weeks and started out slowly but is getting worse. I have tried different cycles which worked for a while, but now it does not matter which cycles it is on, it is affecting all the cycles.

My Bosch SHE46C06UC/40 dishwasher cycles down to 1 minute, holds there for about an hour, and then goes back to 15 minutes. The regular cycle runs for about 3 hours before finally registering zero. What is broken? How do I fix it?

My Whirlpool dryer (model LEN2000LWD) doesn't come on. I connected a new cord with 3 wires instead of 4 and it was connected to a ground wire. Would this prevent the dryer from coming on? The dryer was just taken out of storage, and I noticed lint and a tingle when touching the dryer. What should I do?

My refrigerator's ice maker is not making ice. The water is hooked up properly, but the water is not getting to the tray. The bin was almost empty, and there was some ice stuck at the top that was keeping the bar up. I cleared that out, but it hasn't made any ice since.
