My Amana adb2500aww dishwasher will not start. The latch has been broken for some time but it still worked until today. The touchpad does not come on at all, and I have checked the voltage to the microswitches on the handle, which are getting power. What could be the issue, and should I check continuity on the microswitches in the up position?

The issue is likely with the control board, not the microswitches, since the touchpad is not coming ...

I have an Amana refrigerator that is about 20 years old, model SBI20S2W. The freezer section is not staying cold enough, and the ice maker has stopped working. A repair guy suggested replacing the compressor and filter drier, but he only took off the back panel and did not use an Ohm meter. The sound seems normal. What could be the issue, and should I get a second opinion?

I have a Kenmore HE2 dryer, model 11097561601, that is 7-8 years old. While replacing coils, a clip inside the housing attached to the blower motor came out. I believe it has something to do with the lint filter screen. I can't figure out which way it goes back in. Can you help me determine the correct orientation for reassembly?

I have a Whirlpool Duet washer that won't start and the door is locked and unresponsive. The delay wash light is on. What could be wrong and is it something we can easily fix, or do we need to call a serviceman?

When I pulled the damper off the back of the inside of the refrigerator, it was wide open. Is it possible that the channel from the freezer to the refrigerator is blocked?

I have a Whirlpool EV201NZRQ05 freezer. The top is warm and the bottom is cold, and the fan isn't spinning. When initially turned on, the fan spins for a second or two and then stops. What could be the issue, and what steps should I take to fix it?
