My Amana Electric dryer (model NED4600YQ1, 2 years old) starts then stops. I replaced the thermostat but it didn't fix the issue. The dryer starts and heats up, but stops between 2 and 10 minutes into the cycle. The timer does not advance, and when I open the door, it's cold. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

My Kenmore Elite ice maker suddenly stopped making ice, even though it cycles through and fills the reservoir. The compressor seems to run, but the water doesn't freeze.
