I have a used Maytag Bravo series 300 (Quiet Series 300, top load) that is about 8 or 9 years old. At the beginning of the wash cycle, a small amount of water enters the washer and then stops. There is a humming noise, and it sounds like water is trying to go in, but it won't fill with water. The washer will drain and spin, but it won't fill. I have checked the hoses and the screen, and they are okay. What could be the issue, and what should I check or replace?

I have a DD24 double drawer dishwasher. When using the top drawer, I received an E6 notice and the drawer wouldn't open. I then received a 03 notice, indicating a dryer fan malfunction. After turning off the power and turning it back on, the drawer released. I need to know if the top drawer or the bottom drawer needs to be removed to access the fan, and if there's a chance it has reset itself and can be used without concern. Additionally, I need to know if there is one or two dryer fans, i.e., do both drawers have their own fan?
