We have a 3-door GE refrigerator model # *****. The dispense ice, water, and crushed ice functions do not work. When the buttons on the control panel are pushed, the light turns on and there is a chirp when released. No ice, water, or crushed ice comes out, and the door does not open. The ice maker continues to make ice, and all other display panel functions work as normal. There does not appear to be any power switching on the display panel board. Is there any auxiliary board with relays and possibly a fuse that could be blown?

I have a nearly 20-year-old Amana refrigerator with a bottom freezer and an ice maker. Recently, I've been experiencing a charge in the shower when I touch the metal drain and another metal plate where the faucet is attached. An electrician spent hours looking for the source and found that the issue is with the circuit breaker line that the fridge is on. The electrician suspects the fridge is sending a charge back into the ground, which is connected to the water pipe, causing nearly 60 volts on all pipes touching the affected pipe. We tried plugging the fridge into a GFCI outlet, and it popped, causing sparks. What can be done to resolve this issue?
