My appliance is humming but won't power on even when I hold the start key for 3 seconds. It's a Silence plus 44 dBA model, about 6-7 years old. I unplugged it for over an hour, checked for clogs, poured water in to see if it drains (which it does), and checked the fuse. It hums, then stops, then starts again. What could be the issue and what should I do next?

I have a KitchenAid KEBS208DSS8 oven from 1991. I have the inner glass but do not know how to take the door off to replace it. The hinges do not have a lever to release the door. How can I remove the door to replace the inner glass?

My freezer is not freezing, the ice maker is thawing, and the water dispenser is not working. I found this issue this morning and haven't tried anything yet. Do you hear humming or buzzing when you try to get water or ice? How long has this been going on with your refrigerator? What have you tried so far?

I am having issues with my Whirlpool refrigerator where the freezer is not generating any ice. This started after I turned it off for 2 days to melt accumulated ice. The upper portion of the fridge is working fine, but the lower part, which is the freezer, is not getting cold at all. What could be the issue, and should I contact a technician to troubleshoot?

My dishwasher controls are not working and show a lock mode. I choose a cycle and press start, but it shows locked and does not start. How do I get out of locked mode so I can wash dishes?
