Do you charge for your advice on whether to replace or repair an appliance? My LG LMX28988SB/01 refrigerator leaks water under the bottom freezer drawer at times, making it so the door does not open, and it was warm this morning but is now cooling down. I don’t know if this is a compressor problem and if I need to replace the refrigerator, which is approximately 7 to 8 years old. If it can’t be fixed, do I still pay the fee?

The dishwasher hinge is no longer working, causing the door to fly open whenever it is opened or ajar. Additionally, a black film sometimes builds up on the plastic interior.
