She has tried all the reset steps in the owner's manual and contacted the company, but they only offered the same steps she had already tried. The machine fills with water normally but throws the E1 code after about 5 minutes. What else can she try?

My GE microwave model # JVM1950DR1CC won't shut off when opening the door. I replaced the door switch # WB24X829, but the issue persists. How old is your GE microwave? How long has this been going on with your GE microwave? What have you tried so far? Is there anything else the Repairman should know before I connect you? The new part I put in said it's a secondary part. Is there another part I should have used?
