My LG front load washing machine keeps showing code OE and stopping the cycle. It's about 6 years old, and this issue just started yesterday. I tried restarting from the point it stopped and starting over with a different wash mode, but neither worked. The machine ended up with water still in it and very wet clothes. What could be causing this and what should I do?

We have a Kenmore refrigerator (about 25 years old) that has developed a sticky handle. The source of the stickiness appears to be coming from within the back side of the handle and is spread around the surface when we grasp it to open or close the door, making the entire surface sticky. This problem has only appeared in the last year. Solvents like WD-40 clean up the surface contamination but do not restore the back side to its original condition; it remains slippery with some substance. Can you tell us anything about it?

The drain hole for the freezer must be plugged because ice builds up in the bottom of the freezer. The manual says to force water with a baster through it to clear it, but I cannot find a drain hole anywhere. This has been going on for several months, and the ice melts and runs out the bottom of the door as described in the manual. What should I do to locate and clear the drain hole?
