My dishwasher's rinse agent holder is filthy with black particles that look like mold, and the water inside is brown and nasty. I've tried cleaning it but can't. My landlord says it's fine, but I'm concerned about this dirt getting on my dishes. I have a Miele Turbothermic dishwasher with a model number G 891 SCI. The drain light is on, and there is water in the base, specifically inside the dishwasher under the filter. I have removed and cleaned the filter, but it still won't drain. I have also turned the dishwasher off and on several times after manually draining the water from the base, but the drain light remains on. What could be the issue, and what else can I check or clean?
