My dryer door won't close after my son sat on it. The model is WED8127LC2. The door latch or catch doesn't appear to be damaged, and there are no visible obstructions. Sometimes the dryer turns off because the door won't stay shut, and I often get notifications that say 'check vent. Airflow status blocked.' What could be causing this issue and is there a way to fix the door myself?

I have a Viking vgic3054b 2007 model with a bad flex gas line running from the broil shutoff valve on the gas manifold behind the cooktop control valves to the broiler solenoid. The original part number was pb020038, which substitutes to pb020041, but it's not available. The range is in pristine condition, and I want to avoid scrapping it.
