My Estate clothes washer ETW4300T00 fills with water and stops. Nothing happens. No spin, no agitate. When I drain it with a bucket, it can refill, but that is all. It is stopped. I checked the electric cord and it is getting current into the back panel. Any chance I can repair this myself or does the cost of a service call warrant me buying a new machine? This was purchased in 2007 so I got a lot of wear from it.

Is there a simple way to clean and deodorize a Maytag Portable dishwasher type 779-0, model #E39927 or MDC4650AWW, which is over 15 years old? I plan to do the work myself and suspect that food particles in the drain are causing a bad smell.

After using my Silence Plus 44 dba dishwasher, there seems to be a smell coming out of it, as if there was some residual water left and not fully drained. I clean the strainer inside, but it doesn't solve the problem. There is a slight odor on my clean dishes and glasses, as if they did not rinse properly. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?
