My Fisher Paykel lower drawer recently started making a very loud sound during the fill cycle. Once the water has filled and the regular wash cycle starts, the noise level is at its normal level. After completing the entire cleaning cycle, it now displays a wrench symbol. There are no other error codes, just the wrench. Which water valve could this be or is it a different problem?

I have a lot of leftover lint on clothes after washing. My Series 80 Kenmore top loader is quite old. We are trying to remove the agitator to clean it. Is the inner lug nut on the agitator a righty tighty, lefty loosy nut or a left-threaded one? Where else might lint be collecting in the tub or drain outlet?

We have a ten-year-old Kenmore 970-C45072 front-loading washer that recently stopped spinning. It drains perfectly, the door lock works (light comes on and door locks during the final spin/drain cycle), and the filter and pump are clean. We suspect it could be the main control board, motor control unit, or a balance sensor. What could be the issue, and what steps should we take to diagnose and potentially fix it?
