My freezer was frosting up badly, so I changed the heat element. It's been running for 30 minutes, but the compressor isn't running at all. I checked for 120 volts to the compressor, and it has that. What could be the issue?

Unable to adjust water flow to the icemaker. Water is hooked up but none is coming into the cabinet. The icemaker is brand new. What have you tried so far and is there anything else the Appliance Expert should know?

My Whirlpool Cabrio model WED8500DR1 won't start. When I press and hold the start button, it makes a sound like it's going to start but then nothing happens. The drum is hard to turn clockwise by hand but it does turn. What could be the issue and what should I check?
