We have a Bosch dishwasher that is not draining properly. Plumbers have been unable to find the reason, but a new dishwasher installer found that the drain line was taped together instead of using an 8-foot drainline. Should we install an 8-foot drainline on the old dishwasher to solve the problem, or should we install the new dishwasher?

The oven door will not shut and the lock is in a locked position. The oven is a 20-year-old gas oven. I have not used it for years and recently tried to use it. I held down the toggle switch on top of the range, which I assume is the light switch, but the bulb is burned out. I also pressed the Clean button, which briefly showed 'cln' before returning to the time display. What should I do to resolve this issue?
