My front-loading washer, which has been running fine for about 5 years, suddenly started a continuous alarm. The bottom of the washer is full of hot water, the filter appears clean, and some water has drained out, but there is still some water in the bottom of the machine. What could cause the alarm, and what should I do to resolve this issue?

My 8-year-old washer stops washing and starts buzzing since Friday. I've tried unplugging it for 10 minutes and plugging it back in. When it begins to wash, the lights blink, and F 51 flashes on the panel. Water comes in and goes out fine, but it won't wash back and forth. What could be the issue?

The unit was working normally without any issues before it stopped. What could be the issue and what steps should I take to troubleshoot and potentially fix it?
