My Whirlpool washer model WFW8400TW00 has been problematic for the past week. It started by not turning on any cycles and only giving a few fast beeps. I ran a self-diagnostic test and got an F01 code, indicating a need to change the CCU board. I replaced the board, but it still beeps as before. The test now stops at the rinse/spin light and doesn't proceed further. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

The original belt began slipping & smoking on the spin cycle. Sides of belt were glazed & cracked. I replaced belts with OEM parts. Worked fine for maybe 2 or 3 loads. This morning it went into the spin cycle for almost the full time, but began to squeal. Belt is slipping again. Pulley got hot on motor. Motor still has travel before it hits the stop, which means the tension is okay. What could be the issue and what should I do next?

I tried vegetable oil and it has helped. Will it be okay to put more on and should I wipe the rubber clean?
