My ice maker's water inlet keeps freezing, and I've only seen power to it during the test mode. All wires connected to the heater have continuity, but I expected resistance. Should the computer power the heater all the time, or is it part of the ice maker cycle? Additionally, if the ice bin doesn't fill completely, it works fine, but if it does, it freezes. Is the valve possibly faulty, and did I get the correct test results?

I just installed a new Thermador appliance (dwhd770cpr). The initial language screen appeared, but after touching the on/off button, the screen went out. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the power, but the screen remains black. The screen briefly flashes 'Thermador' when power is reconnected, then goes out again. My Bosch dishwasher, model SHPM65Z55N/01 FD990802181, is not turning on. It has been like this for 1 day.
