My Kenmore 600 series top-load washer needs to have the power cord replaced, but I can't seem to access it. The washer is 5 years old, and there are no side panels to pop off to get at the control board. The washer has no power, and the screen is not showing anything, with only a green light flashing on the control board. What should I do to troubleshoot and potentially fix this issue?

I have an electrical issue with my light switch and some outlets not working. I removed the cover and noticed 4 wires, one of which is capped. The wires around the switch aren't tightly wrapped, and I'm unsure which wires go where. How should I correctly connect the wires to the switch to ensure the light and outlets work properly?
