My Kenmore Elite dishwasher model 665.12789K310 won't start a cycle and shows 'add a dish'. It also won't drain on the cancel/drain cycle and only partially works on the 'Quick rinse' cycle. The issues started after a power outage. I've cleaned the drain/catch, tried powering off/on, and attempted a reset using the 1-2-3 button sequence, but it still doesn't work. What should I do next?

Replaced the lid lock switch on a Maytag MVWC555DW washer (coil was open). Now the lid will not lock. Checked coil resistance and it's OK. The washer won't run auto diagnostics and must be stepped through manually. The lid lock light won't come on and the lid won't lock during the test. The lid lock light flashed before replacing the burned-out switch. Diagnostic codes say the lid won't lock and won't unlock. What could be the issue?
