My Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator model #XXXXX is not cooling anymore. A mouse chewed through the drain hose for the freezer, causing it to jam the fan. After removing the hose and spinning the fan, the compressor was warm/hot, and I cleaned the coils and unplugged the unit for 2 hours. The unit still produces a clicking sound every 2 minutes, causing the fan to slow down and speed up. When adjusting the temperature control knob, there is noise from the upper inside motor or fan, which shuts off after about 8 seconds unless turned off and back on. The freezer control knob only controls the lower fan next to the compressor. What could be causing this issue?
