My fridge is not cooling properly; the temperature shows 4 degrees but it is actually 15 degrees inside. The fridge is a few years old and has never been cleaned. The issue has been ongoing for 2 days, and I have tried changing settings and plugging/unplugging it. The thermostat shows 3 degrees but the actual temperature is 15 degrees, and the cooling system does not start because it thinks the temperature is correct. How can I reset or fix/replace the thermostat? The fridge is a Kenmore Elite.
