My KitchenAid dishwasher model KUDS30IVBL4 has a HEAT DRY lock button that won't go off, preventing the dishwasher from starting and disabling other buttons. The dishwasher is at least 5 years old. I've tried turning off the circuit breaker, but it comes back on with the same issue. What can I do to resolve this?

My Whirlpool dishwasher, model WDTA50SAHZ, is not completing a cycle. It is only six months old and was purchased at Lowes.
