I bought a Maytag dishwasher 2 1/2 years ago and have had problems with the rubber gasket coming loose on the right side inside the door. The gasket runs around 3 sides of the door, and I'm concerned it might come undone over the top, preventing me from tucking it back in before running the machine. A service man has come out twice to show me how to fix it, but the issue recurs after about 6 months. What can I do to permanently fix this problem?

I am a handyman and had a customer who mentioned a label on their Maytag washer and dryer stating to replace the hoses every 5 years. I have never heard of this and couldn't find any information online. Have you heard of this recommendation?
