My KitchenAid oven's latch is not rotating and is stuck after pressing the 'self clean' button. I have tried unplugging the oven and resetting the self clean function, but neither worked. The oven also displays an F2E1 error and the light remains on. Can I replace or dismantle the latch myself, and if so, how?

My Kenmore 70 series washer leaks water onto the floor during the spin cycle and while clothes are soaking. Could the drain be plugged, and how do I remove the agitator to clean it out?

I have a Kenmore dryer with the lint trap on the top. A tube of chapstick fell down the lint trap. Is there a way to retrieve it or can it stay there without causing a problem?

I have a GE Profile side-by-side refrigerator model #PCF25MGWA BB, approximately 3 years old. The freezer typically keeps food frozen well, but the upper levels, where the ice maker is, are sometimes above 32 degrees. I often find the ice maker tray melted and forming icicles on the top shelves of food. Are there any DIY remedies I could try before calling an appliance technician?

Our Maytag Intellidry stopped working after putting a rubber-backed bathroom rug in the dryer. When we turn it on, it makes a noise but nothing happens. Could the rubber bits have caused the motor to burn out, and should we get a new dryer or try to fix it?
