My lid lock is stuck on my appliance. I have to push the lid down to lock it, but it won't unlock without using a screwdriver. The appliance is a TR7, bought in 2019, and this issue started just this week. It's under warranty, but the repair people are busy due to COVID. What can I do to fix this issue myself?

I live in Austin, Texas, and we just got power back to our home after a winter storm. I have a gas stove/oven (model JGBS23DEM1BB, 14 years old, GE). The burners are working, but I'm having trouble lighting the oven. How do I light the pilot for the oven, and what should I do if it doesn't work?
