My Maytag 3000 series front loader washing machine beeps three times and the lights flash, but it does not start. The door lock solenoid is working, and the problem is intermittent. Sometimes the start button beeps three rapid times, and if it does start, the cycle may work all the way through or stop at any point. Diagnostic test results show F22, C04, C00, u03, n12, n2, u00, n12, NC, 999. What could be the issue, and what should I check or replace?

A customer has a Kitchenaid french door bottom mount refrigerator that is freezing up the fresh food compartment. The temperature control is set through the fountain/dispenser pad, and the customer is unsure where the fridge thermistor is located. We have a KitchenAid built-in 42" fridge, model KSSO42FMX02, which is about 9-10 years old. The fridge wouldn't stay within 34 degrees, and the freezer was not freezing below 30 degrees. We replaced a part on the board, which worked for 2 years, but now the issue has returned. The red light blinks, and we press the overtemp reset button, but the fridge and freezer are now at 48 degrees and won't go down. What could be the issue, and what steps can we take to fix it?

We have a Maytag Neptune front load washer, model MAH6700A, which suddenly stopped going into the spin cycle. It sounds like it tries to spin but then stops, and it does not turn at all. I have an older GE refrigerator in the basement that I only use to store soda and water bottles. It has been empty for a while but remains plugged in. I want to unplug it. Is it bad for the refrigerator to plug it in and unplug it as needed? I've also read about refrigerator fires and am concerned about the possibility of this happening if I constantly plug it in and unplug it. How do these fires start?
